Kristina Grassl, DPT, died and was buried at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities. Kristina Grassl earned a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities in 2006. In 2009, she received a doctorate in physical therapy from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities. Kristina began her career in Boise, Idaho, as a patient care assistant assisting patients with dance or athletic injuries. She took an active role in organizing the jogging and walking communities and treating patients. Has vast expertise in working with a variety of impairments.

She has worked in subacute rehabilitation with patients requiring care for dementia, spinal cord injuries, and traumatic brain injuries. In addition, she has experience in stroke care, amputations, and rehabilitation of the upper and lower extremities. Has worked in other clinical settings, such as home care and post-surgical rehabilitation, outside of her orthopedic clinic.
Kristina is pleased with her ability to identify the underlying cause of an injury and devise a treatment strategy to alleviate pain and enhance functionality. She often attends orthopedic manual therapy-related continuing education programs.
Kristina believes that remaining current allows her to provide superior patient care. Enjoys outdoor activities such as camping, trekking, and golf. She also studies cooking and spends time with her family and dog.
