Hero launches in India Vida V1 Plus and V1 Pro e-scooters with a range of 165 km. Hero MotoCorp has released in India the Vida V1 Plus and V1 Pro electric scooters. The battery options for the new Hero Vida e-scooter series are 3.44kWh and 3.94kWh. The Vida V1 series features detachable batteries that have undergone rigorous testing to ensure optimal performance. Lifetime adaptive learning architecture is also incorporated into the batteries for better longevity. The e-scooters are equipped with 7-inch screens for navigation and other notifications. The scooters also feature a two-way throttle with reverse mode, cruise control, and an SOS alarm.
Vida V1 Plus and V1 Pro
The e-scooters have three riding modes: Eco, Ride, and Sport, and there are over a hundred possible custom mode combinations. Both variants have a maximum speed of 80 km/h. While the V1 Plus can accelerate from 0 to 40 km/h in 3.4 seconds, the Pro variant can do it in 3.2. Via Vida’s rapid charging network, the batteries may be fully charged in under 90 minutes. At home, using the included charger, a battery may be charged to 80 percent in 6 hours.
There are LED headlamps, a follow me home light, and a key fob for opening the electric vehicle. The scooters feature a 26L storage compartment. The scooters are app-enabled, allowing users to examine the scooter’s health indicators, the locations of charging stations, and trip analytics.
Price for the Hero Vida V1 Plus and V1 Pro
The Vida Plus e-scooter costs 1.45 Lakhs ($1,755), while the V1 Pro, which includes a portable charger, costs 1.59 Lakhs ($1,925). Hero MotoCorp will begin accepting orders on October 10, 2022, with the first units arriving in mid-December.
